For the E3 2014 Capcom is planning an official announcement of Resident Evil 7 According to the latest rumors. Previously, it should, however, give a first teaser for the game in May. The special feature, however, is that the horror game is supposed to appear in January 2015 for the Xbox One. 

This decision is intended to also be associated with the great and unexpected success of Xbox exclusives One Dead Rising 3. An official confirmation is yet awaited.

That would be fun to behold.

This series is still super popular in Japan, I'd be pretty surprised if this was the case.

they already have gears though. Why would they secure exclusivity on another third person shooter?

The whole thing seems highly unlikely to me though.

It's easier to be a Wii U exclusive than a Xbox One exclusive...
