I still haven't even bought the first one. Gonna get both this summer since I'll be spending a lot of time alone when I'm not working and I need something besides my gf to rage at.

Are you playing them on consoles or PC?...you WILL feel the urge to rage, or break something :P

Is this the series that is supposed to be really hard?

Yes.A lot of people find the Souls games very hard.

Currently playing it! I am loving it so far, I think it's better than Dark Souls in many aspects, specially the ability to fast travel to every bonefire since the beggining of the game. Techincally the game works better than Dark Souls so that's a plus!

It's slowly taking my soul away... I am barely even posting here thanks to that game.

So, fast travel is available from the get go, correct?...In Dark Souls 1, you could only do that after beating those two SOBs.

Any changes you don´t like?...like, I heard enemies have a limited number of respawns, is that true?

I still didn't experience that but I heard they stop respawning after a set number of deaths or a certain number of times you kill the enemies (about 10 times for enemy kills, I don't know the number for your deaths.but I heard you have to lose a LOT). I think the change is for the good as it discourages grinding, besides the first boss gives a LOT of EXP so I guess they try to balance it that way.

Mages are kinda nerfed in this game, but they are still quite powerful. And once you die your health gradually goes down to 50% less of your MAX HP. It makes the game a lot harder since you need to become human again to gain your HP back. And those items that give back your humanity cost like 1500 souls.

Overall it's the same as Dark Souls but I enjoy the new changes, I think it could become one of my favourites in the series but I am still 7 hours in the game and I just visited 2 areas out of the 30+ there are in the game so my opinion could change in any moment but overall it seems like the best of the series yet!

I see there´s a Demons touch there with the "die and your life bar decreases" aspect.

So, it seems like From Software is really limiting grinding (I´m perfectly fine with that).

Was the first boss a tough bastard for you?

Gonna get the PC version when it comes out, hopefully.

I died 2 times but it was quite easy overall, after that one though, there is another boss and it's very hard to beat!

Oh there is one thing I see as a minor drawback. You need to go back to the settlement (Majula) to speak with a NPC to level up, yes you can't level up anymore by resting on a bonfire.

PS3, I don't like the controls on PC for most 3rd person games. GTA is the same.

I see, another Demons touch right there.

The sorcerer is quite awesome, it's the first time I'm using one on a Dark Souls game and I'm loving it!
