I'm getting a bit over whelmed with indies games lately, and most of them seem to be platformers. I think i'll give this one a miss, actually I should give indie a miss for at least 6 months until something fresh pops up.

Around the Network

Wanted to play this one for a while so I picked it up on the Wii U right when it went on sale. The game is really fun but I gotta say I am extremely disappointed that it doesn't support the Pro Controller and forces you to use the Gamepad. The Gamepad has much shorter battery life, the little screen can be distracting sometimes especially when I rarely use it for off screen play, its much heavier and harder to use for a game of concentration like this, and this game has simple controls, so I should be able to use many different controllers. Despite this huge complaint, I'm still having a lot of fun with the game.

Next indie game I'm buying for the wii u is gonna be Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition. Everyone should probably check out that game when it releases, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

It's actually more of a rhythm game masking itself as a platform game than an actual platform game. I love it.
