seems Soul Sacrifice is a system seller
pretty good 3rd week for the PS4 probably will settle at a 12k-15k weekly until some heavy hitter title come into play
I expect ps4 sales to settle at 10k -14k until more Japanese games start to show up! we have to admit that line up was weak for japan

Not surprised by Vita finally selling well. If you go on the Vita game list on Wikipedia and look at Japans 2014 games theres a lot and thats an incomplete list. Hell I would say its recieving more games than PS3 in the west
WTH is going on with Japanease home console market?

Hard to belive PS4 with no competitor is barely pushing PS3 sales.

Well at least the PS4 games are selling out of their shipments (that's what those 80-100% after the Famitsu numbers mean, right?), so I guess Sony was pretty much expecting numbers like this in Japan, I guess.

Well that welcome box also released in Japan at the same time, which I'm sure helped to give a boost as well.

The box includes a black PCH-2000 PS Vita, an 8 GB memory card, a travel pouch, a cloth, a strap, an AC Adapter, a power cord and an USB Cable. In addition to the hardware it’ll also come with quite a lot of demo software pre-installed.
The package will cost 20,454 yen ($195), which is a rather good deal since the Vita by itself normally costs 18,995 yen. It will be released in limited quantities on March 6th.

the way of boosting vita level is outstanding. it almost reach 3ds level :v :))
I still don't find those Vita sales impressive at all, for the "handheld land" those are pretty low numbers compared to what the DS, PSP and 3DS last year were able to pull off. Higher that what the Vita used to sell? sure, but that still doesn't make those sales great.
PS4 is very low, although I prefer to wait 1 or 2 more months to see how things go.
