Why? DuckTales was amazing and better than Mario 2 in my opinion. Maybe DuckTales instead of Mario 3 would have been a bad decision.
One time in the summer of '94 in Toys 'R Us, my mom promised me one new game, whichever one I wanted. I scoured the SNES section up and down for about 10 minutes, eventually narrowing my choice down to two games... Secret of Mana, and World Cup USA '94 (because I still had WC fever and actually went to a match at the old Giants Stadium just a few weeks prior).
I chose World Cup USA '94. Not only was this a terrible decision just by name alone, but WC USA turned out to be one of the worst soccer games I've ever played. I still have it, and it mocks me to this day knowing I could have played an instant classic like Secret of Mana instead of that licensed piece of trash.
Oh by the way... the game was $69.99. Yeah.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

it was £40 and and i finished it the day i got it and it has no replay value, it might be great for £5 on PSN but its was crap compared to days of fun on mario 2
Hardware wise none. But going back to my Atari, Intellivision days up until now, games wise the list is huge. Every system I played on there were games I regretted buying. I'm sure there's some I can't remember too.

Would have been the best option no doubt. But it just wasn't possible. I mean I was like 14 back then. |
Totally understandable. My brother and I were Gamecube only as well back then. Now that I earn a little bit of money though and the PS2 got that cheap, I just couldn't resist and so I am able to play all the great games now. Better late than never.
