man this sure does shut up a lot of people. Microsoft was being honest about power of the cloud. XB1 pic, many many cloudz! PS4 pic, no cloud what so ever.

we're basically comparing a console with a 7850 and a console with a 7870. Both are in the same tier but one does have some performance advantages. At the end of the day, though, both are weak. Hardly even mid range.

We're basically comparing a console with a 7790 and a console with a 7870. Both are diferent tier and one has 50% performance advantage.

At the end of the day, MS f**** up and doesnt matter how you guys spin it the facts will stay the same.

Now some of your op is wrong. The ram doesnt work like you say.

But the esram and 1080p is spot on. The tiling techniques can essentially allow around 80 - 100 mb worth of data in 32mb esram. Allowing 1440p essentially.

Certain people will throw toys out the pram when 2nd gen games have 1080p.

Pointless thread. You can't increase the number of shadercores, ROP's etc after it is manufactured. There for the Xbox One will never reach the PS4 in terms of raw performance-numbers.

Of course 1080p is possible. But look at Tomb Raider, the framerate goes to shiat compared to PS4. So there's really no point in chasing 1080p with that GPU. You could only save some effects and stuff, but in that case, a lower resolution makes more sense as you won't notice the differences as much. 

 

I mean, Xbox 1 is good enough and all, but it's just ridiculous to believe it will get anywhere near to the graphics of PS4. It simply won't happen. And I seriously can't wait for the first Naughty Dog PS4 Gameplay to finally put an end to this discussion. :P
