So, just had the thought when thinking about indie titles. They honestly don't satisfy my gaming needs all that much. I got a couple free for ps plus and played them for a bit then got bored.  The games aren't bad or anything, just doesn't seem to last too long for me. The last indie I really got into was the trine series or tomb raider guardian of light. My gaming preferences are pretty diverse though. Here are some examples. I am enjoying the Wolf Among Us though.

Action Adventure:

The Last of Us

Uncharted Series

Tomb Raider

Bioshock series

Arkham series

Far cry 3

Depends on the indie. Geometry Wars 2, Dust, Super Meat Boy, Shadow Complex or State of Decay had satisfied me a lot these past months!

Well there are some like hotline miami and the wolf among us, but most of them just don't really stick with me.

Played a few of those. They are interesting and good for a new experience but that's all I play them for. They can't really hold my attention for long. Good that they are usually small and a one-trick-pony.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Some of them are really good but most are usually garbage.

They entertain me for a few days. Excluding VVVVV, I don't think I ever came back to an indie game after I finish it.

Am I the only one that doesn't see this as a "diverse" lineup of games?

I don't really understand the question.

I would hate it if I had to play ONLY small games but I would also hate it if I had to ONLY play big "AAA" titles. It's like someone telling me to pick either snacks OR meals. Fuck that, I want both.

Yea, they're excellent for the gaps between big AAA games.
