Honestly depends on reviews. If Shadowfall was on 80+ meta it sure as hell wouldn't be struggling to surpass KZ2 and 3 on a system that currently has a limited library but is selling like hotcakes.

I would easily give the game an 8.5 from all that i've played. The story has some issues, but is good overall but the multiplayer needs more choices of guns. Outside of that its great. Definitely better than COD for sure. The only game better than it is Battlefield until Titanfall comes out. Sony has covered their launch very well.

I give KZ:SF an 7.5. It is crap compared to KZ2 and KZ3 imo (single player and multiplayer)

Based on the total package if the multiplayer and small story elements were fixed it would've been a nine or over for me. I had to take off two and a half points. Its AAA for sure.

KZ: SF feels like a "zombie" that took elements from other games. It does not even feel like Killzone anymore. If Sony is not going to make Killzone something original they need to kill the series and get GG working on a new IP.

Can you blame Guerilla for having to do that? The way they used to do things wasn't working. They needed to increase the demand for Killzone. The multiplayer from a run and gun standpoint is great. It just needs the other Killzone hallmarks like Jetpacks, Mechs and the crazy awesome guns in KZ2. They also need to increase the customizable nature of your characters.

Gaming Youtube is Sony fan turf......believe me I know.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sounds like you fully support them for selling out rather then sticking to their guns. KZ 2 and 3 don't sell like COD or Halo, but still sold enough to be self sustainable.

EDIT: What does it say about peoples' appreciation for Killzone: Shiney Borefest that people are still calling this game the 'first big exclusive on the PS4.' Anyway, onto the post:

I find it pretty funny how people think this game is going to do super well. It'll sell decently because it's the first big exclusive for the PS4, but I think it won't do as well as it ought to do, considering that that is the case.

I think that ultimately it's sales will be DISAPPOINTING for being the first big exclusive on the PS4, and that people will easily be able to argue that much of its sales are only BECAUSE it's the first big exclusive on the PS4 - that's just my opinion, but I believe I will be proven right.

Seriously, I would rather not be a glowing purple 'neon' superhero. But that's just me. (Also, I think, most other people.)

Youtube?
Yeah, i remember TW101 also having many views in several vids.......yeah Youtube....

Not every company just buys companies because they like their games. Some companies make their games from scratch and have to learn to bend to the market.

Think about it.

Ya, sounds like 343 since they were made from scratch. Even with kill streaks and ordanance drops, they still kept the core experience. GG just has a identity crisis and has their work cut out for them

TLDR: Youtube says Infamous will sell about 4 million before the holidays even begin.

Under your premise, X on Wii U would sell at least 1 million over a similar amount of time. Love the look of that game, but it probably won't get that far.

Internet !== reality

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
