Noooo!! While I like them, I don't want to have such a mix between normal, red and blue boxes for ps3 games D:!

I think a lot of people will buy PS3 games thinking they're PS4 games.

I loved the old Kagero Deception on PSone, I played a Japanese import as it wasnt released in Europe. But as most the important text was English it was still playable. I played that game to death, I thought they had stopped making that game as never saw another Kagero game afterwards.

I didnt realise Deception IV was the same game, if not by luck at watching a video for the game I would have been none the wiser. But as soon as I saw it I put my order in and cant wait to play it again!

Suffice to say though I missed out on Trapt as well, hadnt heard of it till now.

I kinda like the uniformity between all devices now, but I also still like the OG template. I liked seeing the full artwork on the front without a banner going across the top.

When people had trouble telling Wii and WiiU games on shelves despite the fact that WiiU games had completely new boxes ("BUT WHY WON'T THIS PLAY ON MY WII?!"), I feel like this probably isn't a smart move for the average consumer.

I hope I'm wrong on that because I actually like the new boxes, they look really neat.

I too liked the original PS3 art. They ditched it because the font they used honestly looked like the same font from spider 2-3. Seeing that Sony made both movies it is plausible that is was the same font.

it was, they wanted Spiderman to be a mascot of some sort for the PS3 launch and the fact that it plays Bluray, they're doing the same thing now with 4K.

The best thing about this thread is that I found out about more niche PS1 and PS2 stuff :3
