A theory shouldn't really be full of opinions, or else it wouldn't really be a theory.

AZWification said: Well, he is half right. The Wii U is also a "non-portable" portable system just like Virtual Boy! |
Except that the Wii U isn't marketed as a portable system at all and the Virtual Boy was marketed as one.
Some good points. Still absolutely exaggerated.
But now I finally got to see what a VGC Nintendo Doom Thread™ would look as a youtube video.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
There are valid points mixed in but most of it is just overblown. He's exaggerating for effect, I guess. The battery aspect, for example, isn't really comparable.
It's just a simple fact that when you bank on innovation/gimmickry, you're taking a gamble. You won't know if what you're doing will be a hit or if it will be a turn-off. In comparison, the PS4 played it totally safe, so Sony had a much firmer idea of how their system would perform. The big problem for Nintendo is that it was a gamble that added significant cost to their system.
Well, it's also a failure (atm).
64 and GC at least sold a good amount of sw, unlike vb and wii u.

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile
Ok, the wiiU isn't at a good point, but it's not THAT bad. I'm guessing it will sell 15-20 million life time. I think the wiiU is far more comparable to the dreamcast.
I'm a fan of his, but I think he's wrong. One point he brings up is that you have to buy hidden extras such as Wiimote. I think most Wii U owners already have one lying around. And you probably shouldn't play for more than 3.5 hours (which he said the gamepad's battery life is) and if you do, just play with the gamepad plugged in.

shut up, you are wrong
Twelve minutes?
I'm not going to watch that much senseless blabbering.
It's a blatant lie in the first place. The Virtual Boy was impractical and hurt people's eyes. It was being returned to stores for refunds on a large scale.
Nothing like that has happened with the Wii U.
The games coming for it already elevate it to the station of the GameCube.
