Well, the 360 version of Titanfall is said to look very close to the Xbone version(this is why it was delayed, to not damage the One version), but again, if you want something more and you don't have a PC, you might consider to buy an Xbone; I say again, you might.  If you have a PC, and today even an average PC has better specs than One, you would opt for the PC version, the best version.  But again, some people only play on Consoles, so, it depends on you.  Sure this is not Halo or The Last of Us, it's just a multiplatform game(PC, One, 360).

You should buy an Xbox One because it's awesome, and you should get Titanfall for X1 because more people will be playing on X1 and that's where the best community will be.

Titanfall is just one reason you should get an Xbox One.

i currently have a PS4 so i dont see a need for an XB1. and ill be getting TitanFall on the PC latter when the price drops. 

and i understand that TitanFall could be on of the reasons to buy an xb1, but from every comment in this thread it just doesnt seem to be the reason to get it. best reason i got so far is to play the best console version of titanfall. which seems a bit picky, because usually if you want the best, you get PC, if you dont care about the best you get consoles. saying you want the best console version of titanfall is like saying you want to get the best product from a average selection. this is just my opinion, im interested to hear others opinions as well.

You would buy it if you really want to have the best Titanfall experience on consoles.

im asking to see others peoples opinions, as i said in another post i heard "get an xbox one for titanfall" a million times, and i want to understand why. my personal opinion on buying an xbox one shouldnt really matter. i have a PS3, PS4 and a PC and i simply have too much games on those systems to justify buying any other console, whether its an xbox one, WiiU or 3DS. 

i want to see other peoples point of view, i dont understand why that is such a bad thing.

"Justify your own decision to get an Xbox One to play Titanfall to me, a person who will never do that" isn't as welcoming of a prompt. I don't like the idea of asking people that sort of thing.

Ok..What has Microsoft been using to sell Xbox Ones? Lets see in Europe they used Fifa and they are giving away Titanfall now. Theres no actual Microsoft game that is truly selling consoles. Forza is a great game but there is no Microsoft made system seller. Instead of taking offense realize that every opinion has a point.

I want to keep on watching 'The Following' with my family, so I make this pretty short and simple.

The consumer does not give a fuck whether an exclusive is 1st (Halo, Kinect Sports, Project Spark) 2nd (Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive) or 3rd (Titanfall) party exclusive. All they see is an exclusive.

But you seem to think that the game has to be 1st party to be good or worth our attention, which is just stupid.


No, I am stating that Microsoft couldn't even make something of worth themselves to sell consoles this year so they use third party titles to cover up their weaknesses. Not everything comes down to first party but with MS they know the profitability of investing less in games and focusing on pumping up the profitability of third party. Microsoft was confronted about this many times last gen towards the end of the last two years. They know the value of good third party and keeping it from Sony is pretty much all they are concerned about.

there is something called discussion, which ironically, is the reason forums exist, if you do not want to do that, then really why are you in this thread? 

just because i do not agree with others or share the same point of view of theirs does not mean i can not discuss the matter with them. 

@bolded: no one told you to get in this thread and answer. actually, nobody is forced anyone to answer, so ill give you some piece of advise, if you dont like the thread, dont enter it and  dont comment.

You seem to be taking a very narrow view of the subject.  

And technically, in my example people would be buying it for both x1 and titanfall, not just one.  Just like any console purchase there should never be only one reason to buy it or you are wasting your money.

Asking this question specificaly for Titanfall does not make any sense... Why would anyone buy a Playstation 4 or Xbox One in the first place then?
People are buying them because they want to experience new and better games, enjoy up to date things, play with their friends who already have it etc...

You are never going to get an Xbox One (as you said) so basicaly you cannot really understand any kind of justification anyone is going to give you as you not hyped about it. It is like talking to a wall lol
