The question is quite simple: What difficulty do you usually pick, when starting a game? (If you are given the choice to do so)

I usually pick normal, since I want a normal challenge, but it also shouldn't be a walk n' shoot game kinda game.

Usually on normal.If I think the game is good enough for replays, then I play it on hard.

Hardest possible, unless it's maybe God of War which I play on Hard. Normal difficulty in all games is a joke, a meaningless waste of time.

First easy, then medium, then hard, then whatever is above. I don't like the jump right into the hardest mode before I have enough experience.
