So lets say:

I am a person that buys every mainstream game for 60 bucks.
I also buy an overpriced system day 1 (no offense every console this gen is overpriced)

Since I always buy maisntream games day 1 which get a big price drop early on I get all whiny because Microsoft makes Forza 5 free for others a few months after launch?

Why exactly do I do this?
I mean If I would care about money I would not buy a system day1 because it lacks games and costs more than years later. Also has a bigger chance of failing because I am a guinea pig and I will probably buy a SLIM version later on anyways.
I would not pay money for online because there is actually no reason to.
I would not buy games for 60 bucks when they are 50% off a short time later.
I would NOT buy games and consoles without looking for special offers/promotions at all.

So why again do I whine about other people getting a game for free? I chose to pay 60 bucks for Forza noone forced me to. If I have to blame anyone its myself.

TBH Xbox fans are the most tolerant of their with regards to Xbox.
Even Nintendo fans are becoming more demanding.

The only time I've seen a majority of Xbox Fans against Xbox is the DRM/Fiasco, and even that was ~49% in favor of.
Screwing over early adopters? I don't mind I knew the risks.
RROD? It's ok I can get a 3rd xbox.
XBL cost? Its better than PSN by 60 dollars a year
XBL paywall? I can watch netflix on my computer
powerbrick(360)? Keeps heat out of the consoles. (Which is why it never overheated ofc -_-)
powerbrick(X1)? Keeps heat out of console. (PS4 has the common sense to monitor its op temp)
(Weaker for 100 more)? Xb1 has more value, Kinect, I can't see the difference
(Mandatory Kinect)? Kinect is great, I don't need options, Value, Dev support will increase (as FW and KSR have proven)
(proprietary hdd(360)? external hdd/in ms we trust
(no legal hdd replace (x1)? external hdd
(Titanfall on PC)? Microsoft Exclusive
(No Wifi model)? Don't need online gaming (:o...)
(No HDD model)? I can buy my own hdd (No you can't you still have to buy a proprietary one)
(PS+ gives away games)? Games with gold (360 only for a limited time -_-)
(XB1 name is confusing/stupid)? Its the One device you will need in your living room (except all the other devices it needs to do this like a cable box)
(XB1 price?) Value, Kinect, Value, Worth more( Sure it is)
I could go on.

In comparison, the OG Xbox was much more innovative then its later incarnations.

This is ridiculous how even when MS is good to gamers (regardless of intention), they still get shit on.

Just saying but that is a very subjective list

better than the RROD I used to get from MS, it was about all i got too. i might be alittle pissy but idc about forza enough to waste the time and energy.

There is a reason the ps is my main console now. Had a couple of free games since launch.

I bought my console day 1 also, I don't have Forza 5. Not really into racers much, but a free game is a free game!!! I wish they would give me a free copy.

But in all honesty, them giving away free games does not bother me at all.

It has been said before but if you're an early adopter you should expect to be punched in the face at some point. Early adopters never get a good deal, they're simply paying a premium price to get in early. If you can't handle it then don't buy a new system at or anywhere near launch.
