Heh, I think they do have problems, but they don't tell you

But that's okay, this discussion is useless - it's not like I can change your mind. Let's drop it.

Another question: So you think you could defeat the United States in a war?

1) If they attacked you, 2) If you attacked them

1. Yes, maybe I just don't have a gay friends with problems, I agree with you. As I told in the OP - its my personnal opinion and I can't say that I'm always correct or represent the whole country!
2. I hope Russia will never be in a war again. And I hope we'll never be in a war with USA, since the only war we can have - is nuclear and it won't have any winners. I'd just want to USA to step back a bit and let us live the way WE want, even if it is not the same as in western countries. And I hope that USA will understand one day that we care about countries around us, we connected with them hystorically and culturally, and its BAD when somebody from across the ocean comes here with its money and starts messing into local affairs.

Well, you have to understand that the world would very much like to let you live however you want, but Russia isn't a very good neighbor... ask Georgia and Ukraine. I mean it's only understandable that the international community isn't very happy with military superpowers invading sovereign countries... Sure, the USA does it too, but they are so powerful economically, militarily and poltically that no one has the balls to call them on it. Russia... not so much.

WoW this is hilarious. Russia imposes sanctions on west and obvious paid russian users infiltrate western websites and start spreading propaganda. That's hilarious.

Man, I'm on Vgchartz since 2010. It seems I was an infiltrated spy a long time ago. )))

It wouldn't be the first time. Been here since 2010 and you choose now to talk about russia, praise it like its the best thing since sliced bread, even tho its one of the most corrupt and miserable countried on the planet, and spread a shit ton of ignorance and propaganda. Here is a pro-tip. This is a gaming site, if ya want to talk about gaming that's great. Otherwise no one really cares, no need to try and hijack the site with that shit. You don't see people from China or Japan on here doing that shit. No one has any reason to unless they are paid to.

If politics would be banned on this site - I'd not speak about it. But the site have its own chapter on Politics, so its OK to discuss it here.
Also this thread is mostly about culture differencies and similarities. Only some people trying to derail this thread into politics or gay themes.

In my experience I know that the view of westerners on Russia is often distorted - and i like to tell them how I see my own country. I love Russia, I'm proud of it and I don't understand why cant a speak about it with other people.

Politics that affect and have to do with video games and video game sales. Also praising a country isn't politics, its just shouting that the place is awesome. If ya want to talk about Russia that's fine but all I'm saying is keep it about games. What game devs are up and comming in Russia? What are Russia's current laws and outlook on game ratings. What games are the banned games and why? What are current game prices? Things like that. Now I'm not judging you I'm just saying if all ya do is say Russia is awesome and the best and that Putin is a sexy beast that could beat up your dad then you are going to give the impression that you are paid to do it. If ya want to talk about politics great but steer the topic to the politics of gaming, if ya want to talk about Russia then steer it to gaming in russia. That's all I'm saying and I hope you understand my viewpoint on it.

You may see it like this. But from our point of view NATO bases in Georgia is too much. And speaking of Ukraine to became a part of NATO is too much too. (Btw, one of conditions of agreement of uniting Germany was that NATO will not be moving east. As you can see now, this agreement was totally broken by West and Russia was too weak to do anything against it.)

Well, I speak about Russian game prices etc in the topics about it, maybe you just didn't get on this. (Last one is about Hyrule Warriors limited edition I think). And this topic is about questions which our forummates giving me and I'm just trying to answer it as good as I can. If they talk about politics - it came to politic discussions.

And of course I speak in the threads about Ukraine and Boeing which was shot down in Ukraine, cause its a hot and important topics for me.

Yes. And pirating games on PC too. )))
Most popular games amongst kids now are Minecraft and Dota2/Lol. Only game I play on a PC - is Diablo 3, love to play it with my wife ))
X360 was quite popular in Russia 'cause its easy to hack. When PS3 got hacked - it became popular too.
Nintendo is having a hard times here... Which is sad, cause first popular gaming console in Russia (and mine, too!) was Dendy (a chinese NES clone) with a cheap pirate chinese cartridges... )))

Ever play any bethesda games on PC like fallout or elder-scrolls? If so get into the modding communities? I remember back in the day on Elder Scrolls morrowind and Oblivion I got few great mods from some Russian Mod sites. They were really well made, never had any bugs and were kind enough to include optional english translations.

How did Nintendo perform during the 7th gen in Russia? What about the 3DS? I'm asking because the Wii and the DS were selling like hot cakes and the 3DS is kinda popular here in Romania!

I love Morrowind (my favorite TES game). Oblivion was so-so for me. Skyrim is meh. Too much snow, I've seen it around for too long. TES community is great in Russia, I agree! Fan mods, patches etc.
I love Fallout 1-2. Fallout 3 never engaged me in, sadly. (Tryed it several times on my PC but it didn't click.)
