Did you miss the part where the russian president fled from the country? Yes, there is plenty wrong with the russian parliament. Its a scham. The elections are fixed aswell, so nope. Its still a dictatorship in practice. It just tries to look like its not, and badly at that.

Well, thats what i heard from the news. Not my fault if its innacurate. Though i would like to be enlighted on your side of the events.

Though i especially would like for you to explain to me how it isnt a dictatorship, because Putin just keeps swapping between the president and prime minister positions to stay in power. I would like to see you say he doesnt have control over the powers of both those positions.

Again a hard question. From my point of view, this is acceptable on two reasons.

1. People are living better since Putin get to power.

2. People support him.

From the law point of view they made it the way that its 100% legal. And since most of Russia support Putin we close our eyes on some things. ))
Btw, if I know correctly, Rusvelt also was a president 3 times, even against some American laws. Should you call him a dictator because of this?

What you think of ignorant people who think WW III could happen?

I afraid it could happen. I don't want it, I don't want my children to know what a war is.

He/me got elected, is he not?

Can't say is it fair or not, but other candidates where just awful.

As he bans every independent candidate/party from taking part in election.

No, he's not, nor does he have autority to do that. But I guess western media says otherwise...

How often is it called Mother Russia instead of just Russia?

Almost never, usually as a part of bad translation. )))

We have wording "Rodina-mat" - which is smth like "Motherland-Mother" (we have a separate word for Motherland - Rodina). So I think 'Mother Russia' arised somewhere in the middle of bad translation.

Why are Russian men so average but the women so hot?

Sorry if that sounded offensive. Do you really believe a WW III could happen? how many countries are willing to take place in a war between Russia and Ukraine?

1) Do the girls there like foreigners?
2) How hard is it to learn the language? From a speaking perspective and from a writing perspective. I know there are the rules for "feminine" and "masculine" (and also neutral) objects like in french, spanish, and portuguese. Anything else besides that? How is the grammar? Lots of verb conjugation? Any tricks to pronunciation?

And привет :)

1. Not so much, only prostitutes ))). In fact there IS an interest to foreigners - but its a part of Russian culture, we usually try to help a foreigner and interested to speak with them if possible.
2. I think its hard for English speakers. On of my friends from Norway said about Russian Language (she was trying to learn it) - 'Russian language is like a LEGO. Its a lot of small parts and you can put it together to get words some new meaning'.

And there are some sounds which are hard for you. But for us to correctly pronounce English words is also an uneasy trick, so its OK! ))

Is the average person in Russia a homophobe?
