wii U is the best version
murphy stages are genial
and also, is the best wii U game.

Vita version is the definitive version. It includes all the levels (including the touch screen screen murphy levels that the WiiU has) plus 5 exclusive levels for the Vita.

But i think the vita version doesn't have local/online co op, while the console versions do. Also, I think in the console versions you don't have to use Murphy who's annoying as hell to use.

Vita version does indeed have co-op (both local via Ad-Hoc and LAN). I should know since I've used it a few times. Also the WiiU version also has the annoying Murphy levels so you're wrong on that bit.

Sorry, I meant on ps3/360/xb1/ps4 you don't have to use murphy, which is great. Also, does Rayman Legends have online co op on psvita (is that what LAN means)? Only played single player, so I wouldn't know. I'm tempted to rebuy it on ps3 just so that I can play with a a flatmate (I'd need  a second vita and a second copy of rayman legends for that).

I definitely agree with you that the Murphy levels suck incredibly on both the Vita and WiiU but people who own the WiiU state that it is a good enough reason to declare the WiiU version 'the best version' eventhough the Vita also has it plus more. Also yeah the game is online in a sense. It's basically when all the parties are using the same local area network i.e everyone using the same wi-fi.

Great game. Origins was great also. I actually like them pretty much dead even.  Origins is definitely harder.  Legends has a bit more variety.

Oh, ok thanks. Agreed, the wiiU version is by know means the best version, but I don't really consider the differences between all versions significant enough to talk about "the best version". A few more levels make an incredible game (that it is) just a bit better and a terrible game (had it been) still terrible.

Leagues above any recent 2d or 3d Mario. The amount of care aplied to each level is stunning.I can't stop playing the chalenges mode.Nintendo could take many lessons from them or for the good of 2d Mario games...copy them.

Though I do agree with you in terms of quality, I don't see why they should. Mario games still sell amazingly well, while Rayman games struggle to sell at all. The consumers make their choices and reward Ninty's decision to keep them as they are (imho Mario 3d Land is a disappointing 7/10 game and Rayman legends a 9.5). Why copy them when consumers will buy Mario over Rayman regardless of quality?

Consumers can cope with the same old food for so much. They just keep on releasing the same ds game up to Wii U.It's sales speak about it.Taking the next step could make gamers care again too.

Haven't they sold well on the 3ds though? WiiU might not be the best example, since nothing seems to be selling well enough on it (though Mario sales are still quite impressive).

Origins was awesome so I figured Legends would be, too. I'll get it for Wii U when I'm in a software drought.

Vita ver is the definitive one :P

It has  a pretty big decline on 3ds too.It didn't help the lauch of the Wii U either.Even 3d world was far from the likes of galaxy 1 and and 2 both in sales and quality in my opinion.I believe that recent Nintendo games while good overall lack something truly unique.Maybe the reason for this is that they keep releasing games, that they believe that they will help them sell their systems rather than focusing on games that made them what they are today and take their time in the development process.

Couldn't agree more. As a former huge ninty fan, I was very disappointed when I played 3d Land. Super Mario Bros 3 is still one of my favourite games ever and 3d Land does not even come close to how awesome and unique that game was and felt. Playing it was such a magical experience. I still don't get the high reviews recent Mario games yet, but I guess that's a whole nother matter.

Yes all that praise for both 3d land and 3d world was really absurd. They didn't bring something new to the table and they were safe bets. They lacked something that would make them memorable.I can't even think myself comparing 3d word to Super mario 64 even if they are different takes on the mario francise. To be honest I never understood who asked them to merge 2d and 3d mario when they are two entirely different things.

Rayman Legends is so damn awesome. It somehow took the already great Rayman Origins and made it even better. The Wii U version is the best in my opinion thanks to the GamePad. I would love to see Ubisoft try to make a 3D Rayman game though.
