Oh my goodness a video game has a SEASON PASS?!? Alert the masses it's time to crucify Microsoft, EA, and Respawn all in that order.

TitanFall isn't the first game to have a season pass nor will it be the last one. I guess it's just a big deal for some being that TitanFall is subjectively the biggest game of the year.

Are you missing the point? It costs 25, which is more than the usual 20. And the reason why some are disgusted by this, is because up to 10 days ago there was not going to be any Season Pass.

Sounds like an EA move, poor Respawn after confirming there was no season pass, they got this in the end.

You sir are very wrong. first of all in related matters, cod charges $50 for the season pass.

Secondly from they were asked if there would be a season pass, the answer that it wouldn't be was a result of a misunderstanding of the question. When they said no season pass they ment not extra charges to play online such as elder scrolls. Soon after  it was confirmed that a DLC season pass would be available, the details were just not available.

Ehh I personally hate the season pass motto tbh, I went with The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite season pass and I would have much rather payed the extra 5-10 dollars instead of waiting 6 months for content to arrive.

Ofcourse no ones fond of being lied to, and I agree with that. But I'm all for having a difference of opinions, though I feel the majority of people complaining are people who have no intention of buying the game in the first place. Am I on the mark?

I won't complain about it but I think buying dlc for the 1st titan fall will be a waste. Just a %  of ownrs get a game, and just a % of that will buy DLC and just a percentage of that will be online often and just a % of that will be close enough to your area for a smooth connection. 

That scenario always ment long searches for players on cod games that had were all between 8 and 12 mil copies sold. When the maps just release, sure they are filled but a month later you have long match making and then unstable connections. Imagine xbox one, by the time the 3 packs roll out how much people will own titanfall before we start deviding that number into who will actually be on the map packs. Keeping in mind titanfall depends on multiplayer, the map pacs I predict will be virtually worthless, unless however the DLC includes a campaign mode or something, I'd be all for that.

second you dont have to buy the season pass by a certain time you can wait till the maps come out see if there worth it and see if people are playing them then buy it

I really don't like the idea of season passes, they seem like such a rip off. I don't get how some people are not turned off by that bit...I might still check this game out though.

Yeah it's mainly aimed at the people who feel inclined to download every new dlc a game adds. I wouldn't be siked about one for this game though, it's a new IP the demo was fun but cod ghost was also fun for a week. So we don't really know how good a game it will be until we have real time with it. I'd be a shame if you turned out to hate the game before the first set of dlc content even rolled out and you baught the season pass.
