3. Nintendo Land (Wii U): 2.84m

4. Battlefield 4 (PS4, X1): 2.71m

5. FIFA 14 (PS4, X1): 2.36m

New Super Luigi U-1.51

Wii Party U-1.24

I agree; either use VGC numbers for all games, or official numbers on all games.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I didn't know about these. I'll update soon.

I would argue that you'd stick with VGC numbers only :) official numbers are rare and far between, while VGC continuely update their numbers. The important thing is that you use the same source for every game.

Once these numbers become old like 6 months old and VGC es?timates exceed the official data l'll replace them. The difference between VGC estimates and official sales data is far too big for games like Killzone: Shadow Fall to look over them.

The only problem with official numbers is that they contain digital numbers as well, while VGC numbers don't. So that kinda skews the list a bit. But it's your thread and topic, and I applaued the initiative!

Thank you. Sometimes digital sales are too large to ignore and without them we get a very skewed picture. Though that's not to say that VGC's retail estimates are very accurate :P

Yeah, digital some times make up a big portion of the sales, but it's quite hard to hunt those numbers down for every single game, so I'd say just stick with retail numbers.... and besides, most often official numbers are shipped, and not sold...

SCEE were clear in their statement that it sold 2.1 million units to consumers. Since this is a sales thread I want as accurate information as possible.

I'm looking forward to seeing this thread over the coming year(s), but I imagine you'll be having a hard time getting "real" numbers, but mostly from other members here complaining about you taking the numbers from different sources, that some has digital sales as well, and that some is shipped not sold. But hang in there! I'll enjoy it the updates! :D

Good stuff, I wonder how long Mario can hold the top spot for.
