Step 1: People get watered down ports

Step 2: People buy less third party software

Step 3: Third party software fails

Step 4: Companies put less money into third party software

Step 5: Return to step 1

Should be:

Step 1: Console fails horribly

Heyyyyyyyyyyy Party People. The numbers of the third party games are so bad, because everyone want to play nintendo games. Thats the reason. The numbers of third party game of xbox one and ps4 are so high, because.... I think you know what I want to say :D

Zelda - Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch.... Incredable!!!

Have you guys heard of victim blaming when it comes to life?

Smarter individuals that tend to take more responsibility for their acion and what they get. They tend to be more successful and intelligent.

People that act the victim more often remain victims and are less successful in life.

I bet you guys can see where I am making a connection to this concerning whether you play a lot of quality third parties, or not.

Be smart, and change your choices and you are less likely to be a video game victim and blamer.

What kitler said. Surely you aren't expecting WiiU versions on par with PS4/X1/PC?

I think he meant missing features, no DLC, not graphical equalities with the PS4/X1/PC.

there nothing wrong with choosing a console over PC,..  but i don't complain about it PC gets a better port.   i'm choosing the simplicity of consoles over PC because a system that "just works" is worth it to me.   PC's are a fucking mess to maintain and upgrade to stay relavant and expensive to boot.  for a mountain of convience i accept watered down ports.

#iacceptthechoicesimake

PC's are not a mess to maintain and upgrade if you learn the basics and know how to use google. That being said, I understand your points, fair enough.

Also not sure why so many people are acting like this is a next-gen game, it's on PS3 and 360 too.

Watch Dog was always going to be the inferior version of the game on WiiU. Beside it's too early to know if it failed us. Ubisoft as broken every bond they used to have with Nintendo fans by delaying Rayman Legends and now delaying the Watch Dog version on WiiU. If anything Ubisoft as failed us big times.

I think for WiiU owner that don't have a gamin PC or aren't planning to buy a PS4 and Xbox One .... Watch dog is still going to be a great game for them. Nothing else will be comparable on the WiiU. I'm worried about the Watch Dog delay, is there a fundamental flaw to the game that explain the delay. Is the delay from a technical reason or the game simply wasn't fun and would of got killed by the critics? Or is it a financial reason again, personally I think that Ubisoft team working on Watch Dogs ran into issues porting the game over to PS4 and Xbox One. The management at Ubisoft made the decision that this game would hit every console at the same time (other then Nintendo's whose no longer a focus) in order to maximize day one profit. Ubisoft game that have yearly iteration don't have any legs beyond the first month of sales. (first months makes up 70-90% of sales).

As a Nintendo fan, we're getting royally screwed by Ubisoft. But, on the plus side if your patient you can get their triple A blockbuster in the bargain bin just a few short months after release.

I buy almost all first party on Playstation as well as Nintendo systems. Batman, GTA, and Skyrim are the only 3rd party games/franchises in my permanent library (well some exclusive 3rd party games like Beyond have made the cut technically). I get plenty on Plus and while entertaining, I usually don't replay them. I buy a lot like Tomb Raider and FC3 but after an initial run or a platinum I sell them.

Watchdogs is my last hope for a Good third party game and port on Wii u other than Sega (which I'm beginning to feel like is more like a second party). To be honest, the Wii u has and is getting a TON of indie games along with epic first party ones and I think I would be perfectly happy playing just first party and indie games (plus Sega) and first party/third party collaborations. If watchdog port fails, I'm done. No more watered down garbage!

Which ones are you refering to? I mean, which did you play and were watered down?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I can guarantee that it will fail you why? Because Ubisoft sees the WiiU version as last gen.

They dont even bother to use WiiU specific GPU advantages or whatever.

The games were listed as two groups

PC PS4 and X1 were 1 group
360 PS3 and WiiU were the other.

The game will probably look exactly the same as PS360 versions will probably have worse framerate (probably below 20 fps like AC3 and AC4) will have some irrelevant gamepad features and then it will be called "EFFORT" and will fail.
