Where are the indies?

I am checking my Xbox One store and there are a couple of FPSs, some sports games, 2 dancing games, 2 lego games, pegle 2 and some dumb multiplataforms. Where the heck are the indie games and digital offerings? Is that it? Did I buy a IdiotBox One by mistake instead of a Xbox One?

Where is Outlast? Where is Supermotherload? Where the hell are the RPGs? The strategy and horror games?

Is this it? A FPS console and nothing more?

Gee, guys, the PS4 have a bunch of stuff FOR FREE on the store and we HAVE FREAKING NOTHING!

Time to panic? Time to invade MS Forums?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I will never understand why Xbox management ignored small developers during the development of the XO but they seem to have reversed course and are trying a lot harder now.

It just doesn't make any sense to me. They HAD to know what Sony was doing, it was all over social media. They'd been getting feedback about this for a long, long time with the 360. Was it simply a situation where they didn't think small developers mattered that much, that it was more important to keep everything hush-hush until after launch? Did they completely take them for granted, assuming that the XO would be on top and everyone would be begging for a spot?

I don't know, I really don't, but it feels an awful lot like hubris. They got beat on this front, pure and simple, and it was mostly their own fault.

LocoCycle is there.

That is a gigantic mistery to me as well!

just realized how horrible the xbox one box art is

Wagner, I dont feel sorry for yoy one bit. This has been well known for a while before the systems launched for you to be able to make a descision. If you are having buyers remorse than you have no one else to blame. MS went after big names and that was their stragety from the begining. They never tried hiding it.

The first ID@Xbox games release this month, they are currently undergoing the certification process. Don't worry, there will be plenty of indie games on Xbox One, over 100 already in development if I remember correctly.

I hope so, my Xbox 360 has no wifi so I could never enjoy the indies and digital games on Xbox 360. I will buy a PS4 someday, but some good options on Xbox Store could make me be able to wait one or 2 years even.

Microsoft didn't start paying attention to indies until it was too late. They might get more support eventually but they still have that ridiculous parity clause that forces indies to launch games on all consoles at the same time. I doubt they'll have the same level of indie support as PS4 this gen.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

For whatever reason, you get a bad rep for focusing too much on indie games. Indiestation 4... ugh.
