Mario Kart: Double Dash for the races. My brother and I always have to do a couple of All cup tours when he comes over.
Mario Kart 64 for the battle. Love the battle stages and the abundance of stars!!!

Like stof said, the amount of time me and my friends spent playing Mario Kart 64 could not be counted. If every single copy of the game on earth got destroyed, I could recreate the levels by heart.

I like the GBA Mario Kart the most, but 4-player multiplayer is a bit difficult (I do regularly play 2-player multiplayer though) so I'll have to go with Mario Kart 64 because of the fun the multiplayer can bring on a party.

hmm, Double Dash is definately the better game, but I have better memories with MK64... likely because the group of friends I had then liked to play videogames, wheras it is rare I got to play multiplayer with DD, and it is really made for multiplayer.

unfortunately I have not played the others.
