Putin wants something more than Ukraine...

Putin wants Ukraine for strategic reasons, but he also uses Ukraine as a testing ground to check the reaction from the west. There are many indications on that from the neighbouring countries (I am from Norway)

No we won't annex Norway, don't worry. We have enough cold territories. I'd like my country to expand to the south more. ))

Both the Norwegian and Swedish army is preparing for the worst,so i think they know a bit more than you do. Besides,i don't belive myself that Russia would annex Norway( Norway is a Nato member after all) But what i am saying,is that Putin wants something more.

I think he believes that everyone who doesn't share his view is brainwashed by western propaganda and the only news that's is true/neutral are those who share Russias views.

It's not very good attitude to start with personal attack. I was mean to the Jimbo solely to the fact he started with personal attack too. So anything to add to the given topic of MH17 crash, or as usual one have a "valuable" opinion but doesn't very in touch with the facts?

P.S.: tiffac somewhat agreed with me on Philippines: "The Philippines is the ass-kisser* of whoever country has money" -- didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings nonetheless.

'm not in touch with facts because I don't share your Pro Russian views.

Anyway, looking at your previous post. It seems your only interest is about discussing Politics in a gaming forum and it seems mostly anti west. Your opinion is already dead set, so imo no point engaging it, especially stuff about West and Russia.

I take it as "No". Your pro-whatever views is none of my interest, you either post facts and opinions based on those facts or beat it. Don't quite get though why bother to post only to attack personally.

I'm here from 2008, mostly used to post in sales discussion and Nintendo forums if you're interested. Today I just don't care that much about gaming, post occasionally only due to force of habbit.

I didn't even attack you. I just shared my opinion on your views and its mostly anti west and dismissing stuff that aren't pro russian, and many of your previous post all the way from 2013(I didn't go further) IMO proves my point. same way I don't view your "Philipines do look like typical US client state and therefore a proxy" and "But if you want to extend the life of this neo-colonial system at your own expense instead, sure, why not." (bec we don't view the US as bigger threat than China) comment a personal attack.

This is what a personal attack looks like

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6561017

and why would I beat it? This is not your thread and 'll post in whichever topic I want to post in.

Oh yeah, ASEAN is not a coalition of anti China that the US is forming. Most countries there view China as a threat because of this

Oh, I didn't want this discussion over here, so I ignored the part about Philippines, but if you're so eager: a) I didn't mention ASEAN in that post; b) proxy is rather neutral term, not sure why hard feelings; c) proxy in the given context was supposed to mean that one political subject acts  in favour of another subject's interests (sometimes its own interests as well) in a given area, set of questions etc., therefore d) I stand by my definition, Phillipines is US proxy when it comes to relations with China, which is rather common place tbh.

As far as I know US naval base in Subic Bay was supposed to resume its operation, seems like it didn't by now, not sure what is the current state of affairs on the matter. But as soon as it does Philippines will be considered a threat by PCR with everything that comes with it if situation in South-East China Sea deteriorates up to a military conflict, which I do expect to happen even though not too soon.

Granted, I don't know much about Philippines outside this, but my opinion that I've shared in that post was... it's sometimes wise to consider long-term goals over short-term goals and whatever problems you have with China do not outweight a good relationships with your neighbour.

Since you say Sweden and Norway are preparing smth and also that USA just get a lot of tanks to Latvia recently, I'd say its Russia who should be prepared for attack from NATO side. Its bad... ((

Actually, i didn't get any hard feelings about it. I just find it really funny. "Oh you dont see the US as the biggest threat? You are a US proxy" lol. Like I said. Many from your post history are anti west and very dismissive if it isn't Pro Russian.

the US used to have base in Subic but the contract wasn't renewed so they were kcicked out in the '90's, so the US having bases here isn't new. And China already pushed that 9dash line(tongue like border) way before the renegotiation of the US base here. And Bases or no bases China already claimed an island that is in our Exclusive Economic Zone even before a renegotiation was considered. Even Vietnam is now seeking Closer ties to the US. There's a bright side though, Vietnam, Phil and Japans military ties are getting stronger.

You said that the US is forming a coalition here against China and most of the new anti Chinese expansion sentiment is developing in South East Asia thus I assume ASEAN.

So effectively you're US proxies, and no hard feelings, I didn't say anything wrong after all. But you just came at random thread, brought that old forgotten topic and haven't found a better way to do it than throw some accusations at me? M-a-akes perfect sense, while the discussion does not.
