They did so well in many fronts in the beginning of the Wii´s life on the market.Clear message, great marketing.

The Wii U, on the other hand, almost seems like it was sent to die a slow, painful death.It´s like the whole execution of the project was rotten from the start, ever since the first reveal at E3 2011.

Here in the uk there are alot of DKTF tv adverts on music channels and my kids tv programmes. Almost everyday so i  was actually quite suprised.  Also seen the mario and sonic at the olympics alot too.

One might think they wanted the stock to lose so much value that they'd be able to buy it back for cheap.

Why doesn't Sony advertise Vita?

I have never seen any Wii U ad in my life.

They do advertise, but not effectively. They are not so hot on really using social media either.

Their E3 presence has gotten worse since then. There was that awkward Nintendoland finale in 2012. 2013 seemed like they almost didn't bother to come.

Advertisement has been delayed, like their games.
Or moved like some games to the succesor.
