..but infamous looks far more compelling and "next-gen" to me.

brown grey meh... Less than 1080p is one thing, fucking next gen and no colour pisses me off.

TitanFall will have a massive success, that's for sure.
But it's nothing "New Gen", really. Aaaaaaand it's another online shooter.

At least Ryse has New Gen graphics.

I'm way more hyped about Quantum Break, inFamous, or The Order.

60" TV vs 27" monitor...... Computer chair VS Lazy Boy...... I'll take the living room experience over PC gaming.

An experience replicated with an HDMI cord and a wired 360 controller...which I have. :P

Isn't the Keyboard + Mouse control far superior to the 360 controller which would put you at big disadvantage when playing online on PC.

I don't forsee it being an issue. Besides, I find myself being regularly destroyed when I play online shooters on console, and that's with a level playing field. Doesn't stop me from having fun.

Given the choice, i would go with InFamous and I will. You said it yourself, the FPS genre is in fatigue mode. Titanfall is trying to spice it up and it looks like its succeeding so that can only be a good thing for FPS players. InFamous, while not trying a new concept in gaming, seems much more unique than Titanfall, for my taste. I'm a single player kind of guy so it is obvious the choice to me. I would like to give titanfall a shot when I get a better gaming laptop/PC.

It's actually kinda funny in a way. Titanfall is pretty much multiplayer only while InFamous is all single. It kind lets you know where both fan bases stand, based on the type of game that their respective companies are offering as the first, true, next gen titles.
