I was just curious if there were some actual fanatics of certain bands around here. Anybody been to concerts? Got stuff autographed? Know everything about your favorite band?

Personally I like Awolnation. I'm glad that electronic rock is coming back, but it's hard to do well without getting cheesy.

I like the themes of mental instability, personal anguish, etc. They can be a tad bit dark lol. Well let's here it from y'all, what is your favorite band among all others?

I've never been into a band. I like music, but I don't only listen to a specific band. But I guess (thanks to my dad) I love The Beatles and Queen the most...

It tends to change every so often, for a long time was obsessed by Muse, mainly because they're the band that got me listening to music and from there I started to branch out. Then I had a period where I listened to all sorts of new wave bands from the late 70s and early 80s (Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, The Jam, The Boomtown Rats, The Police etc.)

Then at various points I've spent periods of up to 2 months where I listened to almost nothing but Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, The Smiths.

So to answer the question, yes :)

I'm not obsessed with specific bands. Just a genre.

I'm metal to the core, and go to concerts whenever I can afford it or justify the time. In terms of autographed stuff, I have a bunch autographed by Iced Earth. Posters, albums, and even a VIP pass. In fact, I'll be getting another VIP ticket for an upcoming concert in May. I'll probbaly walk away with a few more autographs.
