I only buy games that I know are good. I wouldn't have to read reviews for them but I do it anyway for fun.

I read reviews and yes it does affect my purchase but it is less about the score than what they are saying. Sometimes reviewer play so many games that something small becomes a big deal to a review and they downgrade the score. For instance I remember Tales of Symphonia: DoTNW getting mediocre reviews for a bunch of tricky tacky stuff that barely affected me when I played through it.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
Iwatch reviews when im undecided about a purchase. But i use them as information gathering tools. I usually dont even pay atention at the score in the end.
Reviewrs I've seen are a bunch of anal sons of bitches. They'll be like "Pros: Beautiful graphics, perfect gameplay, godly music. Cons: Menus are boring." 7/10".
Unless a game I'm interested in gets reviewed 60 or lower, I buy it anyway. My own judgement and trustworthy user's opinions on VGC are enough for me.
Nintendo and PC gamer
i never look at reviews or use reviews to determine purchase. i either try the demo or watch trailer and if i like i will buy the game. For me reviews are bias to the taste of the reviews ,, and often gd games get scored poorly because they hate it or they are just noobs at it.
i always look at critics.but i often ignore then.just like i did with aliens cm,shadow warrior,bully etc.
According to W, I do it if my gut tells me to. I hardly agree with reviews. I watch a WT to get a sense of what I am getting into.
I usually look at a few reviews before purchasing a game. There are exceptions from devs that have proven to be good though. Some examples are naughty dog and rockstar games.
