Having been here during the beginning of the previous generation and witnessing first hand the way that Nintendo fans dealt with this same "success," it is glaringly apparent how immature the typical Sony fan behaves when given "good news." Obviously this generalization doesn't capture everyone who likes Sony products. Some might say, "Oh, Nintendo fans did that back when the Wii was a success," but I will tell you with certainty that even when the Wii and Nintendo were on top, the vitriol and mockery that were spewed toward that fan base was relentless. Maybe this is just more evidenced by the current population posting on this site, or maybe many of those mild mannered fans left because of pointless threads such as this.

You can rebut this, but most here know it is true, especially if you've been on this site since the previous generation.
