Forums - Sony Discussion - Prediction: FFX haters will fall in love with it after HD remix is released

I doubt it.

FFX haters will probably gawk over other upcoming jRPGs such as X, FFXV, etc.

Anyways, not a fan of what they are doing with the music (at least from what I heard so far from the OST).

I actually enjoyed FFX and it is one of my top 10 fav FF games.

I'll be getting the PS3 version possibly Winter 2014 around black friday alongside KH 2.5 HD Remix.

Edit: Blitzball is the worst - if there was a skip button to skip the in game play of blitzball during the story scene in luca I would skip it. Waste of time and effort.

What's wrong with you people. Blitzball is hands down the best mini-game in any game ever. I've spent more time playing Blitzball than I have playing some consoles. Hundreds of hours of entertainment solely into that game.

When I'm killing monsters with giant ass swords, balls, and a moogle doll I dont expect to be playing underwater soccer/football/etc in a RPG :O

When you're killing monsters with your giant "ass" sword and your balls, underwater football is one of the saner things you'd expect.

On a rainy night, in a dark room, play Star Ocean 3 with PCSX2 0.97 and GSDX 0.09... you will see things that are a 1000000000000000000000 times weirder.

Yet playing card games is acceptable? ;)

It's possible that people don't give games a fair shot the first time around. When FF12 came out I got caught in the storm of people saying it sucked and didn't get it a chance.

There does seem to be a crowd of people that hate FF10 for various reasons. Despite the way they may have handled the remaster it would be in everyone's interest to at least give one of the greatest games EVER a play when this comes out.

I'll be doing that with FF12 if it should ever get remade. Hell maybe I'll go back and play it anyway.

I've never played X, and I want to, but judging the ost from this remix, this version is crappier minus any extra content they may have added xD

The remix couldn't even make the worst main battle theme in the series remotely better.

I had three issues with FFX:

1. Sphere Grid - It had the potential, but for 90% of the time, you're just following a linear path. It doesn't really let you branch out and level up how you want to until near the end of the game. It's no different than an ordinary leveling up system.

2. BlitzBall - It wasn't executed well and encountering someone on the field just ruins the pace. "Someone from the other team is in front of me. Everything stops, and I must select what to do next." Boring!

3. High encounter rate - It's even worse than an SMT game. It took me more than an hour to climb Mount Gagazet because of the encounter rate. You take three steps, and you're already in a battle.

Are they going to revamp the stats of every monster, fix the brokeness of the luck stat, make weapon/armor customization less grindy and more flexible, change the way Auron learn limit breaks (who didn't love backtracking all the way back to Beasaid from Macalania, then back again to Macalania?), balance limit breaks (Wakka used roulette!), have something better than spamming attack/quick hit with celestial weapons to deal damage in the late game, and make magic useful for something else than beating the monsters that are designed to be defeated with it?

And I haven't said anything about being linear yet!

Lol.

maybe I'm late to the party but; Did you know FFX is a prequel to FF 7!?

so if you like FF7 then you should like FF10
