Just because they are available doesnt mean anyone actually bothered to utilise it, thats also a massive assumption on your part, particularly as they were often (usually) more expensive than retail.  They hardly bought digital only titles in large numbers did they? so why would they buy digital when there was a retail choice, a retail choice that was cheaper too?

All evidence points toward the LIVE audience being much more active digitally than PSN.  Lots of million sellers on LIVE... PSN??

But this is nit picking and not really the main point I was making. 

The point was that VGC numbers for software are now fairly pointless and indicatve only. For some titles, such as Titanfall perhaps, you may argue they arent even indicative as the digital numbers will likely be higher than average.

 

 

I just want to know where you're getting your data from, I know perhaps XBLA stuff does better but retail titles?

Well that was different. An argument between Kowen and Seece. All very civilized.

Most of why I'm still buying retail is to let me try out more titles early on. Traded Ryse and ACIV towards TR that I'll keep and DR3 that I won't. I'll get AC again eventually. As NT 360 above said until there is an acual price gap at release I'm not going to change and ddl is not going to really start to dominate. Imo.

DR3 and Forza are boxed, will get Titanfall boxed as well. If possible I will always buy the retail versions of games.

Halo Spartan Assault is my only digital game on Xbo.

That will be about it for Xbo for me until fall or winter.

I personally have bought 0 physical copies and 3 digital (Forza 5, Peggle 2, and Spartan Assault). My roommate has bought 2 physical (BF4, Ryse) and one digital (AC4)

I have Forza 5 on disc, and Killer Instinct, Halo Spartan Assault (regrettably), and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood digitally.

I've pretty much switched over to going digital for most Wii U games so I'll most likely do the same for XB1 in the future.
