Kinda difficult to assess since Titanfall is so close to launch, which obviously means that Titanfall hype is on its peak right now. But Destiny and the Division, I can definitely see gather similar if not more hype.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I think Titanfall would help a lot more if it wasn't on Xbox 360. Sure some will make the jump just for Titanfall, but others are going to see its available on 360 and see they don't have to spend the $500 just to play the game they want. Other than graphics there is no difference to the games is there? I can actually see this game selling better on Xbox 360 than Xbox One. Putting it on 360 just seems counterproductive to what Microsoft wants, which is get people on the Xbox One.

I expect it to have a 100-120k base line after the price cut.



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

It will certainly be interesting to see what happens, I'm almost more intrigued by the situation in the UK; it could potentially set the bar for further growth and improvement in the rest of Europe once it's available. Unlike (seemingly) most users though; I don't think Titanfall will be a swing or a miss, I think it will be something between the two, selling well but not having a massive or lasting impact on hardware.
A sequel, on the other hand, I think will work wonders.
Halo 2 was crazy, as was CoD: MW 2 and Gears of War 2 (actually sold more than the third installment).

The marketing director of Xbox UK said that the magnitude of the deal can be compared to the Fifa/Forza offers at release, so a couple 100k should be a given.

Exactly my point. Who in their right mind will go out and purchase an XBOne before this bundle is released ?

who cares? the best versions of the best shooters will be on PS4. Nobody except shooterica and uk will give a damn about titanfall.

Most people on .com forums are from NA and UK. So it is kinda most relevant to the people you will find on most gaming forums that speak in English. Your opinion is only relevant if you are speaking in a non-NA/UK majority frequented forum.


You do know that shooters are one of the most hated genres here? Most people here arent halo fans, and they are looking forward mor for infamous than titanfall.

Nope, nope, and nope. lol @ The Division.

Destiny might come close when it nears release, but nothing has matched Titanfall so far. Keep in mind all he said was most hyped game of the gen. Another game could come along in the future and get more hype and it doesn't make what he said wrong.
