Why not? The launch units will not move themselves! We need an incentive and a good one at that.
Don't know why people keep saying that free Titanfall is a pricecut. Haven't seen any Sony fanboys claiming the PS4 got a price cut because of all the free PS+ games. By that logic the PS4 will eventually cost negative money because of the cumulative number of free games with PS+.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
It's called business - instead of doing a traditional pricedrop, the no-price increase bundle with their most desired game is a great way to move consoles. They are not willing to just be blasted into oblivion this gen like Nintendo was.
It's a smart way of price-cutting consoles right when they hope to move the most of them. Acting like it is a vote of no confidence in the game Titanfall is asinine.

You are.... deliberately misconstruing what is goign on. Sony was just giving away free PS+ games anyway. This is a way of reducing the cost of getting the console and the most desired game for it - a backdoor price cut so they don't have to say 'We cut the price $60 just five months after launch.' Saving face.
Heh heh... backdoor. But seriously, you can be a Sony fan and still be reasonable about understanding this move, can't you?
It's business and a smart business move at this point in the game. I'm sure we will see 100 more of these articles by clear Sony fans. Just buy a xbox one already, obsessing about it in articles is nice but having it is better.

Bundling a new / big exclusive is not a big deal as these numerous threads are making out of it. Its something MS has done with just about every big Halo, Gears, etc game over the life of the 360. Its a sale.
Why the long OP?
X1 is lagging behind and this will help. Nuff said.
Plus 360 sales are padding whatever losses X1 is doing right now.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
