Its not because the video has no HUD. And the shots are jaggy free. You can see the jaggies in the video cant you?

also go in the neogaf thread the pics are from diffrent sources, once will download directly to your browser, those are the ones that are taken from the trailer and its a night and day difference  compared to platinums super sampled shots.

I see in the video jaggies/compression... But to be honest I don't see a huge difference between "jaggie free" shots and video its self... Let's be honest, pictures that are "jaggie free" only further allow us to analyze the visuals of Bayonetta 2 and we can clearly see that it looks way better than original Bayonetta and the amount of detail that levels and enemies has.

its a huge differnce, especially when playing on a 40+ tv

But that's not a fair or accurate comparison is it? And yes Bayonetta 2 does look better than 1 as is expected, that would be the case if it came out on the 360 as well. The question is how much worse would it look if it did? My guess is not much worse at all based on everything we've seen so far on the U.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Virtually on par with DMC4 no? Bayonetta 2 has the benefit of scale definately, but nothing else. I dont see high res textures so this must be a lazy port >_>

First one has jaggies and second one is jaggie free? Honestly... I zoomed in and zoomed out... The difference is negligleble and will be more negligleble when in gameplay/motion thus why do we care if its bullshot or not? Just make it look jaggy or compress it a bit to simulate how it would look on TV... :P

@SubiyaCryolite

Even if we compared it to bullshots of original bayonetta or recent metal gear rising revengeance we would still confirm the same thing that we are confirming now...

DMC4 actually looks better to me, much better use of lighting, but baynoetta 2 probably has more scale.

As you can see with all the 'Nintendo is DOOMED!!!' threads and discussion in the Internet you can say that everything in and on and even in any kind of connection to the Wii U is better than given credit.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

It seems you don't have an eye for detail... I looked at footage of DMC4 and Bayonetta 2...

DMC4 in overall detail is considerably inferior to Bayonetta 2, only its art design is its saving grace and we could literally count each polygon on DMC4 enemies which isn't good news at all and I can't even imagine how much polygons each enemy has in Bayonetta 2. I would't be surprised if its between 15K and 20K versus DMC4 that has probably <5K for most enemies by looks of it when I see how blocky and simple looking enemies are.

edit;

@starworld

Are you seriously using a cutscene/pre-rendered scene for comparison?

You can have two characters and focus all available resources to them, Yakuza series used a engine specifically for cutscenes to for better visual fidelity so no physics, AI or any sort of thing... All pre-determined, pre-rendered, pre-set... What ever. Its a common trick for cutscenes in every game nowadays.

what are we confirming that platinum makes ugly games and uses a yellow piss filter as lighting. GOW3 looks tons better graphicially, so does DMC4 , and ninja gaiden 3.
