Seriously though, I didn't read it all because I don't have time before I leave for work, but what I did read and managed to skim was pretty interesting. I'll try to read it all when I get home from work.
While I don't agree with everything, not entirely, I do agree that Nintendo has a history of being every bit as cut-throat and predatory as Sony or Microsoft. Some people have a hard time understanding that because they think Mario and Kirby actually represent the company somehow but that's a rather childish perspective.
The fact that Nintendo does not invest in ways that could, and would, help their audience has always puzzled me. They HAVE the resources to improve all the areas where they've fallen behind: account systems, online infrastructure, increased studio count, genre diversity; there really is no excuse for how behind Nintendo has dropped. Microsoft is spending like crazy. Sony is investing everything they've got. Nintendo? As much as they feel they need to invest and keep customers buying but very little more.
There are a LOT of places where real Nintendo fans need to be demanding improvements.
