So you'd be fine with a bill that says that people can refuse to serve someone because they're black?

Well I dont think race and sexual preference and the same (as much as LGBT zealots like to compare themselves to black struggle in America) but without going much into detail or arguing about it, I'd say yes, I would be ok with that completely. I would also be ok with someone refusing to serve white people.  Im not saying I'd support their decision in any way, but I would supprt their right to make that decision.  Its their private business, they shouldn't be forced to serve anyone.

I don't think you understood the question. I didn't ask if you thought it was OK for a person to refuse to serve someone because they're black. I asked if you thought it was OK to have a bill that says that people can refuse to serve someone because they're black. That is, legislation explicitly written to say "you can refuse to serve someone because they're black".

I said already said I would and not just black race, but any race. Dont try to single out blacks to make me look racist, altho I know thats a very popular tactic among LGBT die hards

As a person whp believes in free market as well in freedom to serve whoever you want, I fully support this bill. It stops the manipulative fascist LGBT lobby from suing and closing down small businesses.

I very much disagree.  There has to be a line drawn in the "freedom to serve whoever you want" mentality.  Prejudice and discrimination should be fought against, not strengthened.  We have seen, historically, how that mentality has played out with segregation and the jim crow laws.  Are you actually trying to say you would like to go back to the time of segregation?

It is ridiculous, especially since this is being pushed as a religious freedom.  I mean, goog god, could there be a more anti christian law?  Maybe from an old testemant perspective this law would be ok, but christ taught to judge not, forgive the sinner, turn the other cheek, etc.  christ would be appalled by this law.

Thanks Arizona...I knew we could count on you to make America look bad, again...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

So why is this Bill 'needed'.

So that a company can put out a sign that says "No Gays Allowed" so that they can minimise the chance of catching gayness.

Dynamite drop-in Monty!

and I don't direct this at any one user, but people lose all level-headed and get emotional.

Are you STILL not understanding. Imagine if the bill specifically said "You are allowed to refuse service to a person because they are black". Not "You are allowed to refuse service to a person based on their skin colour", but specifically saying "because they are black". Is that acceptable to you?

And I use "blacks" because your country is run mostly by white men, and thus a law specifically referring to "because they are white" is a lot harder to imagine. But hey, much better to attack me than to try to understand my point, right?

Exactly; this is one group's freedom at the cost of another and it goes against fundemental principles of equality (and my personal conviction).
