Forums - Gaming Discussion - Dispelling the myth: Vita haz no gaemz (24+ beg to differ) [challenging the boundaries of what counts as a "game"!]

I WANNA SHARE MY LIBRARY TOOOO!!!

Too bad it's 99% digital :(

Not shitting on the vita, in fact, I wanted one last year, but was unable to get it.

I think the sentiment of "vita has no gamezzz" is derived when it is compared with the 3DS library, where it is sorely outmatched by quality and quantity (my opinion). Plus there is a perception that most games on vita are watered down ports of Ps3 multiplats.

Nevertheless, I hold the console in high regards, but the price tag is holding me back.

Just screen capture your home pages on Vita :D

I didn't include all the digital titles I have. I've got in excess of 100 games for Vita when you add in Digital and again, quite a few of them are Vita exclusive and actually had physical releases in other parts of the world :/

@Mike Rox, 3DS would like a word with you and so does the DS

Come on guys let's be real. Vita's library only has about 5 games total. Multiplats, ports, indies, and collections don't count as games anymore. Only new IPs and Nintendo IPs count as games.

That's not fair, then. Nintendo IP's aren't new.

Could do that but it's not possible. Due to memory restriction (16bg) i keep ONLY what i play at that moment... the rest are stored on my ps3 or pc.. So that's a lot of hassle. I will upload what i have now though :)

I'm so glad you said that...

5 games total...

Thank you for helping teach me to count. As just in the games I own, they're the games not available on another format outside Japan (for Everybody's Golf and Ragnarok Odysey). That clearly totals 5 I guess. And for the record, there are quite a few Vita exclusive titles I don't own. Again, this is about dispelling the myth. Thank you for your contribution.

But the internet told me that old Nintendo IPs still count as games. Must be some technicality I guess.
