According to a Gamestop list printed out a few hours ago, Bayonetta 2 is going to be a May 2nd release. That's before MK.

If that's true, then why was the release date not announced in the recent Nintendo Direct? The game will probably release mid to late summer.

Shovel Knight though

As big as Reggie's head is, his ass must be an awful lot bigger, as he managed to effortlessly and comfortably stick the former up into the latter.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")

I'd be very surprised to see Bayonetta 2 that early. I'm expected in the 3rd or 4th Quarter of the year.

Maybe you should be aware: we are gettinga nitenndo game every month, jsut not only for wiiu. You guy really need to stop ignoring 3DS. Even nintendo fans are ignoring it.

Feb: DK
Mar: Yoshi
April: Golf
May: MK
June: Kirby?

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

I still remember Reggie's "I'm about kicking ass, I'm about taking names, and we're about making games" speech. Whatever happened to that attitude?

More like Nintendo saying to its fanbase please buy two systems from us and then buy two versions of each franchise on each system please.

No wonder a lot of people are likely just getting a 3DS and saying "this is good enough for my Nintendo fix". Every Nintendo franchise is on the 3DS and it plays just fine.

I feel like he's talking about both Wii U and 3DS. It's very true that both consoles combined have a steady lineup throughout the first half of this year. Considering we'll be getting Yoshi, Professor Layton, Kirby, Mario Golf (lol) and then Mario Kart, there are a lot more exclusives coming in this first half then there was last year. I mean, we already got Bravely Default, Wii Fit U (lol), and DKC.

Indeed. It may very well get worse since SSB is making its handheld debut.

Don't care. As long as what they're saving, if they are saving anything, is for E3.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
