For the sake of neatness would it be possible to change the main global hardware totals chart on the front page to cascade from highest to lowest rather than nintendo microsoft sony?

Looked a lot nicer that way back in last gen when the ps3 was far behind the 360 and it made a nice curve.

Im personally fine with it now. I guess i can understand but i see no reason to change it. If we are to change things on this site id say there is more demanding things like being more accurate and getting digital if ever possible.

That should be the main focus! Accuracy seems pretty good thus far for the new gen.

Yeah, digital just keeps getting bigger so who knows what we are missing.  Plus id like to see arcade games make the list.  Trials, Minecraft, Joruney, Limbo, and so many others would make a mark on the  chartz.  Not to mention steam may blow some things away if we were to know their numbers.

The accuracy isn't really something they can just decide to improve, it's always going to be a case of part numbers part guesswork, no company gives out solid digital numbers frequently enough to factor them in and i would wager that if they did, all it would do is cast further doubt into the approximate accuracy of the numbers given.

Bolded part, take for example a developer releases a game worldwide and its published in a different region by a publisher that isnt on board with the provision of digital sales to NDP, what you would end up with is inaccurate worldwide results.

It will help, sure, but it will bring its own fair share of inaccuracies along with it.

Will they be more accurate or less accurate with digital?  Take a 3DS game like Pokemon that is possibly missing 1m+ from digital for instance.

VGC is estimates, they arent expected to be exact but the more they can track the better. Plus this is one of the most anticipated features on VGC, though doubtful we will ever see it.

True, it would be nice is they separated things (perhaps they will be doing, ive not been keeping track), for example retail, digital and combined. then in specific game pages report the numbers given for each region/publisher of the game so if a number doesnt look quite right a quick check can reveal why.

As a higher priority, I'd vote to have VGChartz Buddy more accurately take you to new posts. ;)
