Yeah. I think it's very polished for a release title. Can't wait for the sequel.

@ZenfoldorVGI - I don't think he actually played this game a hell of a lot. Anyone who's played it for more than a few hours can figure out for themselves that there's technique involved. Couple this with the fact that he is a big fan of Sony consoles, I'd say he's just here to get all the Wii lovers worked up.

That wasn't a review, that was a rant.

I'm wondering how many people would buy a sequel. I know I would. Say $50 aust about US$30. What do you guys think.

The Wii comes with a "free" nunchuck and remote though, so saying "You also have to go out and buy a remote and nunchuck separately" is a bit silly?

Wii Sports is the perfect game for the Wii. It gets non-gamers of all ages playing it (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,260990,00.html) its fun, you can play it on your own (the training section is good for single player) but it is very good when you play it with other people.
A lot of people buy the Wii because of Wii sports. It may not be to your liking, but surely you must appreciate it for what it is?

No, it's just that he's not stupid like us Wii owners. We're just cats playing with balls of string after all. Can't handle the real games like FF.

I got to play wii sports yesterday. And here is my review.

Tennis - Only One court (first of all there are two (you can have a blue clay court) and second of all why is this important) , no one on one (I actually agree with this) , you can't move your character(the game would be awful if you had to have a nunchuck plugged in to move) , how hard you swing has nothing to do with what happens. :( (actually it does, once you know what you are doing you can control speed, height and spin as well as the left and right aim)

Bowling - My least favorite , extremely boring , No replayability (hahahahahaha), not even with friends:(

Golf - 9 holes? One course? (ok true, but this is not a golf game alone remember, it is all five sports on one disc) No arms ? (what?) Well that is every game. Playing the same 9 holes over and over .... Yikes

Boxing - Nunchuck required (were you planning on boxing with one hand?), no uppercuts (yes there are, as well as side swipes), can't move players head (huh? why would you want to... you can lean the whole body left right front and back,)

Baseball - 3 innings, no bunts , there should be more (ok I have no idea how many innings normal baseball has, nor what a bunt is, but baseball is the least entertaining of the 5 for me, and happens to be the least special in terms of motion controls, all it registers in baseball is the speed of a swing (you can swing backwards and it still counts).. the only thing cool about baseball is before you swing you can move the bat around)

The whole game feels very limited(it was designed as a demo of what the Wii can do, and if you understood the Wii remote you would see it has done this excellently) , also extremely overrated. (that's an opinion I don't hold, I see it as one of the most underrated)No replayability.(hahahahahaha) it doesn't seem there was any effort to make this game fun.(HAHAHAHAHHA) 5 games that aren't good and horrible graphics.(I like the graphics, they are simple but effective) You also have to go out and buy a remote and nunchuck separately.(no you don't, you get a remote and nunchuck with the Wii, what are you on about) Since its free , I'll put the score up a point , though.

Overall - 5/10 (UTTER FAILURE)

You get 2.5 points out of 18 for that review

I call flamebait. If you want to say a multi million seller suck monkey balls, you better have an arguement longer than a paragraph.

"You won't find Adobe here in Nairobi"

Good on Twroo. Almost agree totally with you.

@OP

If Tennis doesn't take skill, tell me what the reason of this is. I finished tied 9th in Norway's national tennis competition for 14 and under last year. After on, we played Wii sports. At the time, only one of the 16 had played the game before. We ended up at almost the exact same line. Can you do that with ANY other game?

Bowling has no replayability? Have you done training? I get to the 18-20 on 1 and 3, but have never made it 100 %, and I've played that a lot. My father beats me in this game - his record in real life bowling is 253, his record in this game is 247. About the same goes for me, I'm a little better in this game than in real bowling though, but it's not fun with 8 gutter's agreed?

As for Golf, have you played Tiger woods 2007? It's not a lot more realistic, but sure as hell, it beats the 360 and Ps3 buttonhitters. TW Wii >>> Wii Golf >>>>>>>> TW 360/Ps3

This game is a FUN game, not a GOOD game.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

I always played real life tennis in the same court and never found myself bored. I expect a game solely dedicated to tennis to offer me different types of courts, such as clay or grass, but Wii Sports is a freeby with five sports together. I am very satisfied.

Somebody else compared Wii Sports golf with Tiger Woods PGA Tour. I have the 2008 edition of the latter. It is a better golf simulation game, but Wii Sports graphics are far superior. The players are rendered as caricatures but the envriroment looks much better.

Wii Sports Bowling is a very accurate simulation of the real bowling. Is the best game included.

I have little to say about baseball, as it is not a sport I follow. That said, I like to play it with friends.

The boxing game is the only one I don't like, as I feel the controls don't work properly. Even so, I can manage to launch some uppercuts.

Tennis--there are two courts

To change the tennis court to the blue practice court, press and hold (2) at the warning screen that shows after selecting characters.

Bowling--is pretty much like it is in life....if you don’t like it in the real world not much to do here....unless you go to the training area and play spin control, spares, and the one game where you get to knock down 90 some pins

Golf--i can kinda agree here---the only thing is to go and play in the training area there are variations there that add a little more fun

Boxing-yeah....where to start--you can move the head just tilt the body and the head follows--lean man, lean....also you can uppercut and its a very effective hit-but it does leave you open for some punishment--just slowly point the wiimote towards the bottom of the screen and flick it up quickly--i can get 9 out of 10 to uppercut--the other one hooks

Baseball--you can bunt--just hold the bat out and it will hit the ball--i have actual gotten a double out of this b/c the pitcher errored
REPLAY—there are over a dozen events in the training section that add value to it, also you can earn different medals for the effort you put in, not to mention working to get pro in all events
8.5/10

you do Peter proud by being way off base and incorrect
