Forums - Microsoft Discussion - GTA: San Andreas now on Windows 8 store.

  • 1

To my surprise... a real game is in the Windows 8 store and its a doozy. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

I never actually completed this game and I haven't bothered with the PC version because it doesn't support the Xbox 360 controller, but this version apparently does. I believe it also has check points, cloud save, and improved graphics so it should be a more enjoyable experience than the original.

Only $6.99 and I'm gonna give it a go.

*sneers in fanboy voice*

But it won't help sell Windows 8....

Gen 8 Hardware Predictions (After 6 years)

PS4 -- 110 million , X1 50 million, Wii U 35 million

Is it on Windows Phone yet? I know it's on Android and iOS. I want it on Windows Phone.

It says it supports ARM, so I presume it'll work on phones.

A massive number of people already have Windows 8, so its just nice to see the market place getting some decent software.

Alright, been trying it out, this appears to be the best way to play this game.

The shadows and lighting effects look great, Xbox 360 control support, cloud saves, and it has check points.

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted.

I have it on my iPhone. Not ashamed.

"Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence." - C.S. Lewis

"Anyone who tries to use the word "fanboy" as a legitimate descriptive term in any intelligent conversation needs to go back to grade school. Immature no-brain bullshit like that is why normal people look at video game players and only see acne-ridden dweebs with severe social issues." - Myself
