Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rime was supposed to be MS Exclusive but they dismissed it/New information on the game

They rejected heavy rain too (which Sony ended up funding), and consequently lost out on beyond two souls.

They think they are just rejecting games, but they are rejecting developers too.

I would love to see them bring deadlight to playstation as well.

I bought deadlight but haven't played it yet, Rime sounds cool though will check it out when I get a PS4 if it's good.

3 million is initially what they are asking for, we dont even know what the full cost of development would  have been.

and people here are assuming the game is going to be good. that is ABSURD.

"We love the concept, but we think the character should have some kind of a gun. Also we would prefer if you could change the game into a first person perspective, that way it will feel more immersive to aim and shoot at the numerous enemies we will require you to add to the game. What do you say? Do we have a deal?"

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Lest we forget, Sony used to reject games for being 2D back in the PS1 era; and rejected visual novels on their consoles until a few years ago.

I'm glad times have changed.

Now that I think about it it shouldnt have an issue making that back. 200,000 copies at 40$ would easily make that up
