For me is the opposite. Naming specifically "for PS4", for me, means it could be a series already in ps3, or considered to launch in ps3. That's why it could be perfectly The Last Guardian, a game considered for ps3, but rumored for months to launch on ps4.

" Next month's cover is one of the most exciting in OpM' history" "a series of massive significance finally being confirmed for PS4"... given those factd, the announcement has to b huge... something like the TLG would not qualify as "series" or "massive significance"... considering its a new IP. Same for LfD.. an okay series.. definetly not "massive signficance"... i'll go. with crash.. given the facts, the games history and recent rumors, it just makes sence! ;)

Does anyone know when next months issue comes out?

Also what is with people and God of War 4? I really think this series has run its course, a new IP from SSM would make me way more excited than just another God of War. How would that work anyway? New Mythology and main character, or another prequel?

There is definitley plenty of life left in God of War just not with Kratos and greek myth.  No matter, SSM is making a rumored space open world game. Should be epic.
