Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Best eshop games for 15 dollars?

What are the best games to buy for 15 dollars between the wiiu and the 3DS? I have that much eshop money and dont know if spending it or save it

Trine 2 or Runner 2

I'd recommend Duck Tales Remastered as well, but for some reason it rubs some people the wrong way.

Nano Assault Neo

I already have trine 2 on the ps3 so thats out and Im not that big on arcade experiences so runner 2 is also out, about nano assault is better on 3ds or wiiu? Any suggestion for a platformer, rpg or adventure game? I have the eye on crimson shroud and attack of the friday monster on the 3ds and unepic or earthbound on the wiiu

I had exactly $15.00 to spend too (from the eshop download promotion) I'm currently downloading Crimson Shroud as it's on sale for $2.99.

Cave Story is your first priority if you don't have it yet, after that Sakura Samurai, Pushmo, Gunman Clive, and Attack of the Friday Monsters are all good decisions. For Wii U i would say Bit Trip Runner 2, but I think it would be better to get multiple 3DS games with the money.

LITTLE MAC

3DS: The guild games (Crimson Shroud, Attack of the Friday Monster, Starship Damrey, Liberation Maiden) Denpa Men 1+2, Dillon's Rolling Western 1+2, Witch&Hero, Hana Samurai (I think it is Sakura Samurai in the US), Pullblox/Fallblox (Pushmo/Crashmo in the US), Steamworld Dig, Nano Assault Ex.
WiiU: Trine 2, Zen Pinball+StarWars Pinball, Castle Storm, Giana Sisters, Nano Assault Neo, Unepic, Little Inferno, Toki Tori 1+2, Dungeons and Dragons, Runner 2, The Cave, NES Remix.

I can't say the prices in american eShop though. Take your pick which genre/idea you like out of this.

Can't really decide between Nano Assault Neo and Ex.

Crimson Shroud is very unusual for en videogame-RPG, as it mimics the experience in Pen&Paper RPGs. So you don't have animations, you see inanimated figurines for the heroes and the monsters, similar to the experience on the table with friends. The dungeons and surroundings are only basically graphcially represented. And you have a lot of text. You even throw dices. As I play and enjoy Pen&Paper I think that was very cool. But probably nothing for everyone.

Attack of the Friday Monster is a small adventure, you only have to go around, speak with people and interact with what is there. Nothing special. But the story s so cute, that makes this game so special.

Unepic is a RPG with only one character and lots of skills, items and magic. You jump over platforms, but it doesn't need much skill, the focus is on RPG, not platforming. Fighting is real time as you move on. And it has a lot of references to movies, games and so on.

Earthbound is a pretty classical videogame RPG from Japan. You run over the world with your party, have encounters that you fight round based fights and get access to more areas. But you fight with Jojos against Pogo Punks and stuff like that.

I would recommend all of them, but you might choose based on your personal preferences.

Runner 2 is on the expensive side? Didn't expect that. I think I got it on a sale. And I think you should wait for a sale too. The game does good what it does, but it has less content that Trine or NES Remix. It has increasingly difficult levels for the one thing - running and jumping, sliding, kicking through obstacles.
