El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron isn't a bad game per se, but it's probably the only game I won't ever force myself to finish. Beautiful, but so derivative and simple, it's like an empty shell of a game dressed as an interesting take on biblical revelations.

A lot of games people are putting aren't really that bad.

Duke Nukem Forever as the worst game ever? I think most people think it's a bad game because of their expectations of what it was going to be like. The other 90% of the people cry out that it's the worst game ever only because everyone else says it is.

Boing Docomodake. Yeah, I never heard of it either.

Mario Party 8, it's the most boring and annoying thing I have ever played.

I'll get my normal flack for this, but I'd have to say Final Fantasy XIII. Hardly even counts as a game. it's an RPG on rails without so much as the common courtesy to give you a good, well told story with even remotely likable characters.

Duke Nukem forever was pretty bad, too. At least it was functional, even if it was insonsistent, boring, unfunny, and annoying.

Another one of my worst games was Bloodforge. Just broken. Nigh-impossible boss fight kept me from carrying on, visuals were muddy, story was derivative. just blech.

Another controversial choice is Soul Sacrifice. Complete disconnect of story and gameplay, bland, shallow, repetitive grinding, terrible graphics two generations behind where it should be...but admittedly great writing.

Lord of the rings conquest. I paid $100 Aus for that crap
