Who would buy it? It only works with an X1 and everyone that owns an X1 already has a kinect,

Well if they cut the price to $399 equal to PS4 I will definatley buy it. That's a price you can't beat if it includes Kinect.

I doubt Microsoft cares enough about the sales to drop the price of Xbox 1 with the Kinect and take a loss. But they might do it, I'd say 37% chance. Eventually, they will release a kinectless SKU but not because of any sales gap so definetly not this year.

But they are selling xbo with loss?
Why not sell it for 399$ even with kinect?

I think they can sell it for even less withou kinect. Maybe 299$.

 

Ok, i think that be best option was let it optional. Same for wii U gamepad.

this is like when ps3 fans said add ps2 B/C, release a HDDless PS3 sku, and wait till $199 alo of great ideas but none ever happened except going to 199 which was late imo

and really just think about it for a sec a kenictless sku for 399 against the PS4 that also retails for 399? Xb1 has to be at a minimum 50 less then the PS console to make any meaningful ground in the sales war especially now with all the other advantages sony console has
