Are you serious? Knowing it's you, Rol, I can't help but have my doubts.

The Wii is surprisingly powerful, and far more powerful than the Xbox. SMG and SSBB prove this. However, close to the 360/ps3 it is not.

As for 720p, of course the Wii is capable of this. It just depends on whether developers want to sacrifice the resources necessary to make this possible. GT4 ran in 720p/1080i on the ps2, if you remember.
