So we're in a new year but WiiU is still performing under Gamecube sales in the US (and elsewhere? I havn't checked) in its second January and 14th month on the market, Gamecube sold 81k. WiiU has sold 49k, that's 40% less.

Shipments by the end of March 31st (so 16th month) stood at 9.55m for Gamecube, vs 6.25m for WiiU (if Nintendo hit their target that is)

More alarming though, in Nov/Dec 2003 Gamecube actually did ok in the US, selling 1 million units. Something that looks unachieveable for WiiU right now ...

So for those that thought WiiU could claw it back, do you think at this point the gap is too wide (and is getting wider)? Alligned the Gamecube has 3.3m+ lead!!!

I thought it will do 30 million, but now i'm not sure if it will even reach 20 million. I've never seen sales this bad, not even Vita is THIS bad.

Maybe, but you have to take in count that Gamecube had Smash Bros almost since its launch.

they are both pretty bad, just vita has great support in japan and will last longer. Looking at US Vita is dead! It hit a record inlast Dec (Under 95k for a 5 month holiday week) . WiiiU just practically sucks in ever region, and its going to get worse

No I don't, that didn't push 3.3m systems.
