Yesterday Nintendo confirmed that Game Boy Advance games are coming to the Wii U Virtual Console in April. We already know that Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 will be coming to Europe and North America. However, here’s the glorious GBA games coming to Japan.

April 3

• F-Zero
• Golden Sun
• Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
• Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
• Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame

April 30

• Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
• Mario Tennis Advance
• Metroid Fusion
• Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland
• The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
• Wario Land Advance

Guess I'll make a big update to my Wii U VC thread sometime next week (once I have confirmed NA + PAL games for the 20th).

Is it me or are a lot of those are the ones we got on the 3DS?

The GBA remake of Super Mario World...
Isn't that a bit redundant???
Or does that version have extra content???

If I remember correctly, it's the exact same game. 

The only difference is that it has a slight remix of the classic Mario Bros. for the arcades...which is something that has been done countless times already.

I don't get you Nintendo. Either have two separate Virtual Consoles for handheld and console libraries, or pool them together. Oh, and release games people actually want. This GBA lineup is good about having games people care about, but the other libraries are terrible. One more thing - CAN WE GET POKEMON GAMES?!

Color me envious. I hope these eventually touch down in other regions.
