So with the most recent Nintendo Direct, we now have confirmation of multiple Ace Attorney titles currently in development.
One is coming from Motohide Eshiro and the Investigations/Dual Destinies team, which (from the very small amounts of info we have so far) will likely be similar to the previous titles in the series in terms of gameplay style
And the other is coming from original series developer Shu Takumi, which is "something completely different" from past titles in the series.
This is a little odd, considering that the Escapist reported last year that Takumi's title would be an all new IP.
Wonder if this was an inverse RE4/DMC situation, where perhaps a game that was originally going to be an all new IP was too similar to an existing series and was merged into it?
Regardless, I'm not complaining. Two Ace Attorneys in development, with Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright coming soon as well...
Better get those index fingers ready.
