No mention of Saturn Bomberman?

Saturn Bomberman is clearly the best game in the series. 10-player local play with two multitaps and ten controllers!

I am really hoping that a Bomberman game with solid online and local multiplayer is released this generation. After all, the Xbox One supports up to eight controllers!

I bombed misserman. Wait, what?

Anyway, Bomberman is awesome but not the last 2-3 versions. My favorite is probably Super Bomberman on SNES.

few weeks ago I had the same debate with some friends.
We were playing bomberman with 5 on our DS and wondered what the hell happened to him

there are still people playing bomberman live on XBL. Hit me up (superryo) if you want to play some bomberman. Unfortunately Bomberman Battlefest bombed. It had so much potential but the netcode sucked and was laggy as hell and no one plays it.

I don't have an xbox man, but I do have the ps3, wii, and ds online versions of bomberman if you wanna play those.

LOL

Super Bomberman 2 on the SNES was my first Bomberman game, I still remember playing with my brother to this song.

Konami is not doing much with their own damn franchises so I don't expect them to do anything with Hudson's franchises

Konami is Metal gear. Thats it. Even Pro evo has fallen from grace (and is shockingly bad on the latest iteration).

It required Hideo Kojima's influence for them to even green light Castlevania lords of shadow.

Its not a well managed company. They fired team silent and proceeded to fail at outsourcing Silent hill, destroying the franchise.

They also dissolved team Suikoden and now cant do anything with the franchise. I know they tried to get the producer back on board, but he gave them the middle finger, wich means Suikoden is pretty much done aswell.

Yeah... if metal gear falls from grace (and ground zeroes has been a step in that direction), konami is done. Maybe its for the best, cause whoever buys them may get their IP's to good use.

To be perfectly honest, Konami is a company that has been fucking up for a big number of years. I wouldn't mind if Konami would just  go away and its IPs would go to better, more talented devs.

I wished I knew earlier but I sold my PS3 to a friend whose PS3 died.  I had Bomberman on it too but there's hardly anyone playing when I checked.
