So I was playing Bomberman Hero the other day and I realized something...... what the heck ever happened to Bomberman?!

I am aware that Hudson Soft was absorbed by Konami, but why wouldn't more Bomberman games be made under the Konami name? Konami has many large franchises like MGS and Silent Hill; they could have another one in Bomberman if they would continue making his games.

The last game in the series was the digital release Bomberman Live: Battlefest in 2010. His 30th Anniversary even passed by last year without any releases.

Things are looking pretty grim for Bomberman, but I hope that he isn't gone forever and new games eventually come out. It would be a shame if I couldn't have the Bomberman multiplayer experience on current generation consoles...

Bomberman definitely needs to come back. Konami in general isn't doing much these days.

It's kind of a shame isn't it? Hopefully, Konami has big plans for him. If they took care in doing so, Bomberman would be a great mascot.

I miss Bomberman. But I miss Hudson Soft in general even more. They were, hands down, one of my favorite developers over the years. I really wish someone like Nintendo had bought Hudson, instead of Konami, who obviously didn't give two shits about the company or their assets. They just absorbed them, killed them off, and they're not even doing anything with all those franchises they now own. It's pathetic, and kinda makes me hate Konami more than I already was beginning to (on account of their now fairly shitty games).
